Save

The two-day 3rd national conference of chiefs of the Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) is under way in New Delhi, organised by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and centred on the Vision Document on Narcotics Control (2026–29). ANTFs are specialised State and UT units coordinating action against narcotics offences. Topics include trafficking networks, demand reduction, rehabilitation, synthetic drugs, illicit cultivation, and darknet and cryptocurrency investigations. The NDPS Act, 1985 is India's main narcotics law, and the NCB was set up in 1986 as the central drug law enforcement agency.
