The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) published National Accounts Statistics 2026 using 2022-23 as the base year. Its 64 statements cover GDP, GVA, national income, consumption, savings, capital formation, the public sector and external transactions. Estimates were revised using the new Producer Price Index, Index of Industrial Production and Banking Services Price Index, all on the 2022-23 base. Revisions were largest in mining, manufacturing, trade and public administration. Real GDP growth for 2025-26 rose from 7.7% to 7.8%, while nominal growth was cut from 8.9% to 8.6%.
