A medieval Telugu inscription connected with the Gajapathi dynasty has been found at the Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. It is linked to Purushottama Deva, a 15th-century ruler of the Gajapathi kingdom of Odisha, and names Kumaraguru Mahapatra, a steward officer serving under him. The text is carved on a stone pillar in the temple mandapa. The temple artefacts are believed to have been brought from Kondaveedu Fort, a significant medieval centre in Andhra Pradesh.
