India took part in the 14th East Asia Summit Economic Ministers' Meeting (EAS-EMM) and the 23rd ASEAN-India Economic Ministers Consultation held in Manila, Philippines. The meetings brought together the 11 ASEAN countries and other East Asia Summit partners. India-ASEAN bilateral trade touched USD 128.38 billion in 2025–26, which is 10.55% of India's total global trade. Talks centred on reviewing the ASEAN-India Trade in Goods Agreement (AITIGA) to improve and ease trade. India also joined the ASEAN-India Business Forum 2026 in Manila.
