Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh saw the inauguration of MILAN's 13th edition, the multilateral naval exercise hosted by the Indian Navy. Held every two years, MILAN gathers navies of friendly nations to build maritime cooperation, interoperability and goodwill across the Indian Ocean Region. Marking a separate step for the defence industry, India's first Final Assembly Line for helicopters in the private sector became operational at Vemagal, Karnataka. This facility will put together the H125, a single-engine light utility helicopter designed by Airbus, boosting aerospace manufacturing within the country.
