The Union Cabinet has cleared the Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana (BHAVYA) to strengthen industrial infrastructure across the country. The scheme will develop 100 plug-and-play industrial parks with a total outlay of ₹33,660 crore over six years, from 2026 to 2032. Parks will cover 100–1,000 acres, with a lower minimum of 25 acres in the North-East and hilly areas, and will come with ready infrastructure. Assistance of up to ₹1 crore per acre will be given for core, value-added and social infrastructure. The National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC) under DPIIT will implement it.
